Typography Commissions
Foxhole Press offers typography services for bookbinders looking to obtain books-in-sheets of public domain works. Additionally, Foxhole Press works directly with authors to format their books for self/commission binding. This includes fan-fiction authors looking to bind their own works. Authors must be able to prove ownership of the work before Foxhole Press will typeset the work.
Starts at $300.
Lead time of 2 months.
The commissioner receives one book-in-sheets of their requested work. PDF and electronic formats can be discussed upon request.
Foxhole Press has a strict no AI policy. Any work that utilizes AI in its creation (either written or visual) will be refused.
Typeset Licensing
When a binder desires to bind multiple copies of a Foxhole Press typeset (e.g., edition binding), licensing may be appropriate. Instead purchasing multiple book-in-sheets from Foxhole Press, licensing provides electronic access to the typeset which the binder can then print themselves. Inquire for cost estimates.
